The four-sided openings are an important part of the design. They allow cables to enter and exit from different directions, making it easier to work with different power strip layouts and desk configurations without forcing cords into a fixed path.

Ventilation was also considered from the beginning. The perforated base allows air to circulate underneath the box, helping dissipate heat while keeping the power strip elevated from the desktop surface. The result is a cleaner solution that doesn't treat cable organization as purely cosmetic.
